adidas AlphaEdge 4D
After adidas launched 4D, its first big commercial push was through the AlphaEdge franchise. Designed to adapt for an athlete that needs a product to run and train.
Our team developed a year-long campaign in three parts. The first chapter illustrated the feel of the product, comfort, and control. The last two chapters told the story of what happens when sport meets Silicon Valley. All three global campaigns involved films, photography, visuals, retail, and an event.
At the event in Shanghai, we created new interactive experiences to help bring this technology to life and explain how 4D gave athletes Controlled Energy. We had multiple Kinect walls that reacted to people’s movement. We also developed a digital MRI machine that showed the inner workings of the 4D midsole.
These stories helped tell a deeper narrative about when athlete data and liquid 3D printing synthesize.
