I’m a Global Creative Director with 20 years of experience helping brands change consumer perspectives by building and leading innovative departments, setting brand direction, and executing impactful campaigns.

I spent 10 years at adidas in Amsterdam where I started, built, and ran my own in-house creative studio. I developed my unique team for one sole purpose: to change how people perceived the brand. To change adidas perception of being a classic sports brand and turning it into being viewed as one of the most innovative brands in the world was no small feat. We did this by launching the company’s top innovation and eco/innovation stories, most notably through the FUTURECRAFT, SPEEDFACTORY, PARLEY, and PRIMEBLUE projects. In 2017, 2019, 2020, and 2021 Fast Company, Time Magazine, and Forbes named adidas one of the most innovative brands in the world. In 2019, Hypebeast named FUTURECRAFT “The most exciting thing in sportswear.” We also won some fancy lions along the way.

Personally, I have spent half my professional life on the agency side and the other half on the brand side. I started as a graphic designer. Funny story, I received a D+ in art when I was in the 8th grade. I’m a global vagabond who can’t sit still (mostly due to my ADHD). I have been fired twice. Once from a skate/snowboard shop and once from a one-hour photo store. I was once a bartender, so I can make a mean drink and strike up a conversation with anyone.

I’m currently located in sunny Los Angeles. Feel free to contact me with any questions or opportunities, I’d love to help. Take care out there.
