adidas Futurecraft 4D

When adidas unveiled FUTURECRAFT 4D, created with Digital Light Synthesis, it was the world’s first high-performance footwear featuring midsoles crafted with liquid, light, and oxygen. By partnering with Silicon Valley’s Carbon and taking an athlete’s unique dataset, adidas could now make bespoke footwear for a specific athlete.

Our team was given 2 months, from brief to launch, to tell the story of this visually breathtaking innovation. We developed everything from concept to execution. We even named the technology.
